We are committed to making our programmes and services accessible to people with disabilities. The County continues to support the goal of an accessible Province by 2025 through the implementation of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA).

Joint Accessibility Advisory Committee

The JAAC brings together individuals with disabilities, along with caregivers and professionals who support them. This diverse group provides valuable advice to help ensure that County programmes and services are accessible and inclusive for people of all abilities.

Accessibility Legislation

Accessibility plans and policy are written to support the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (AODA) and the Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2001 (ODA).
